It's rained on Chas 'n' Cam's parade all day, but temperatures
are ok.

It is cloudy and I haven't seen a star for days and the sun Up
North seems red long before sunset over Lake Paudash. Now, the
media are full of complaints about grey cloudy smog that is full
of 'particulants' bad for your health health. Compared with the
Leeds area in England back in the fifties it is nothing. There
the bus driving people down A653 to Leeds had to crawl in low
gear to avoid hitting the car or lorry in front many times. Coal
fires were burning in every home, and yet we survived.
We Canadians who are born here and of a younger age have never
seen anything like this.
The forest fires are causing this smog and it is early in the
season. We haven't had much rain Up North and some of our bushes
are dying.

Excellent, Stee. Yes, it is going to be very hot over the
weekend with thunder storms later in the day. There is a
weather warning about floods in the Medway towns, doubt that
will affect us but it will rain so make sure you have a
waterproof with you and that the wipers on your specs are
working :-).

It is very warm and sunny here and the air is still. Rain is
predicted for tomorrow but it will be even hotter. I don't
care, I have my fan at the ready.

It is supposed to be a high of 27C today. The sun is shining
through a light greyish coloured sky with a glimpse of blue sky.
The cloudy effects of the forest fires swirl around in the
atmosphere until dissipating to nothingness. I am staying in for
the time being to avoid 'particulants' in the air.

That's wise, Leslie.
It was 28 deg C here, going to be 30 tomorrow apparently.

My word, it's 29º here at the moment. I never thought I'd see a
higher temperature at the same time in the UK.

Still hot, but now breezier, and becoming overcast. I wonder if
we're in for some thunder.
