Same here. Feels quite warm atm. I don't mind it being dull as
long as it isn't cold.
13°C°F

Seems bright and cheerful outside, not been out yet today to
test the temperature.

Lovely day here too - now getting dark and chilly, but it was
warm earlier.

Lovely and warm, hot inside the car today, if parked waiting for
my wife to shop. I sometimes go in with her.
One thing about Americans here in Bradenton is that they appear
to smoke a lot. They smoke outside Beals, Marshalls and
especially Publix, all big stores. You can smell it everywhere.
That is completely different from Canada. Toronto is relatively
cigarette free. Five weeks here is enough for me or I will catch
something nasty, or so I think.

I forgot to mention being outside Walmarts for smoke inhalation.
People smoke outside the store as they cannot smoke inside. I am
off to Bradenton or Cortez beaches this morning, and if I arrive
by 9 a.m. They will be unoccupied.
Last week I went to Holmes beach at about lunchtime and found a
very busy cafe serving (self serve) everything from ice cream to
a full meal. Near the beach there were many tables of noisy
occupants. One large table was full of one group of Americans I
presume. (I have noticed in my many travels that Americans love
to travel in groups, whether they are comprised of family or
friends or not.) They are happy and noisy. It suits them but not
me so I look for a quieter area off Anna Maria island , before
10 am with just the sun and sea to keep me company, such as
Bradenton Beach.
The weather today is cooler than yesterday and a little cloudy,
but that should clear up before noon.

Dull, damp though not actually raining, light breeze, cold.
Winter is having a final fling - which is good news for my apple
harvest, as a late (but not too late) cold spell means the
blossom will be late, and therefore less likely to be
(literally) nipped in the bud (where the expression comes from,
of course) by a late frost. It's also an "on" year for my
biennial-bearing trees, which is all but one of them.
All the same, I'd like it to warm up soon.
