I like Angela, but I like Diane Abbott even more, and am very
pleased that she's had the whip restored, and is standing again.
She should never have been suspended. What she said was perhaps
tactless, but not remotely antisemitic.

I agree with you. I also think Diane is one of those front
runners who are only fully appreciated by later generations.. I
was pleased Angela spoke up for Diane, and I think she is
potentially a future leader of the party. Both are conviction
politicians not careerists.

Yes. He was on Question Time last week and it was mentioned.
I can see him campaigning in Jaywick-on-Sea.

I see Farage is now intending to stand as MP for Clacton and the
leader of the far right reform party! :o
[/quote]Good. The more votes Reform gets, the better, provided
they don't get any MPs, because they take votes mainly from the
Tories.
Reform is hard-right, but I wouldn't call it far-right - that
usually refers to neo-Nazi and neo-fascist groups like the BNP.

Will the first televised debate between Sunak and Starmer look
something like this?

Thanks, Val. I'm still confined to a wheelchair or more usually
getting around the house with this kind of Zimmer frame:
