My point is to make people aware of history about Israel. and
not just Israel. They should be aware that in War, civility
tends to disappear and is replaced by cruelty, avarice and evil.
The victor changes things to suit himself, and heaven help you
if you live in an evil dictatorship.
Mao Tse Tung wrote "Political power come from the barrel of a
gun ."in his little red book.
       [/quote]
It's exactly "Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun"
and was originally used by Mao during an emergency meeting of
the Chinese Communist Party on 7 August 1927, at the beginning
of the Chinese Civil War and a second time on 6 November 1938,
during his concluding speech at the 6th Plenary Session of the
       CCP's 6th Central Committee.
It reminds me of a phrase attributed to Lenin: "A bullet in the
right place can change the world". That was certainly the case
with the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand on July 28th.
1914. Then, there is the famous phrase by the 19th. century
German military theorist, Carl von Clausewitz, "War is a
continuation of politics by other means", a history lesson in a
       single phrase.
