Is one of the holy grails of medicine about to be found?

Based on experience with Covid, I would run a mile before taking
anything with mRNA in it.

There speaks the man who prefers being sunburned to putting on
sunscreen.
This is not a cure for cancer and cancers have names, there are
many kinds. This is a potential vaccine to prevent skin
cancer.
I reserve judgement until the trials have finished. I wouldn't
have it but I am 74 and don't expose myself to the sun very
much; when I did, I always used a sunscreen. It might be
advisable for someone who spends a lot of time in hot sun but it
will take time to prove its worth.
One of my cousins, in her eighties, has always travelled for
work and pleasure and is a sun-worshipper. She had a malignant
melanoma on her arm last year which was removed; it hadn't
spread and she was cleared. However, it can be deadly.
Doctors and scientists have to do their best to find effective
prevention and treatment of any illness. There have been many
positive breakthroughs, a lot of us would not be alive today
without them, but not all trials are successful.
We can protect ourselves against skin cancer.

An ad hominen attack, Lyn, carries no weight.
More Americans (18 to 24 year olds ) will have been killed by
the Covid "vaccine" scam than were killed in both world wars,
the Korean Warand the Vietnam War all added together...

I wasn't attacking you, Leslie. My sunblock remark was
lighthearted. However it would be sensible to use it if you
venture into hot climes again. Sunburn is no fun, I remember
being very burnt on holiday when I was 22 and reckless, have
never taken that risk since.
This was about the trial of the vaccine against skin cancer, not
Covid. I think it is dubious and am not sure how well it can be
tested, I mean somebody may have the vaccination and not get
skin cancer but they probably wouldn't anyway. Vaccinations are
always controversial.

We all know by now that Leslie likes conspiracy stories. In his
case, it's harmless enough.
It's good to be on our guard and to research things properly,
weighing up pros and cons. I've said what I think about this
proposed vaccine, as far as I am concerned the jury is out.
What do you think about it, Steve?

I'm not a scientist, so I don't know, but if it turns out to be
a cure, that's fantastic.

mRNA based "vaccine" is responsible for deaths, not the virus
itself. Statistics , facts . show this to be true.
The CEO of one of America's largest life insurance companies
publically disclosed that during the third and fourth quarters
of 2021, deaths in people of working age (18-64) were 40%
higher than they were before the "pandemic". Even a 10% increase
in excess deaths would have been a 1 - in -200 - year event
increase.A 40% increase in deaths is literally earth shattering.
Kieren Williams a news reporter wrote Brits are dying in their
tens of thousands - and we don't really have any idea why. He
then goes on to report that between May to December last year
(that would be 2022) , there were 32.441 excess deaths in
England and Wales. [/i]excluding those deaths [allegedly] from
Covid[/i].
There are more statistics showing excess deaths in the UK due to
mRNA "vaccines".
For starters if there was a deadly virus rampaging through the
UK in 2020, how come 2020 had one of the lowest death rates in
the last 80 years?

[/quote]Because everyone was isolating themselves as much as
possible, using hand sanitiser, and wearing masks, which greatly
lowered the incidence of all infectious diseases, not just
Covid.
