       Plumbing Time

       All he had to do was connect a copper tube to a plastic one at
       the back of the new fridge, He took one hour and a half to do it
       and  finish. I asked him if he had heard of Murphy's Law. He
       said, he had. I said: "Time will expand to allow the the time
       necessary for the job to be completed." He certainly took his
       time on the job!
       This should not be under Our Pets section.It was a mistake.

       I sometimes think I would have liked to be a plumber! Not to
       take 90mins to attach two pipes, but I do enjoy working with my
       hands.

       I hear birds singing this morning  both from the basement and
       the kitchen. Do we have plumbing problems? No, I say after a
       quick examination of the home. We have had a mild winter and
       some birds must be trying to get in via microwave ducts or via
       the fireplace.
       None of the birds will succeed, based on past experience.
       We have a light covering of snow over the gardens but the
       driveway, streets and roads are clear.

       Are they looking for a nice war spot to build a nest, maybe?
       Seems a bit early though.
