       Hotel Romeo). Steve filled in on short notice for Steve Smith,
       KW0Z ("The Wizard of Oz"), who was out due to a vet emergency.

       in the box).

       full 30-year Florida state retirement.

       of family trips growing up, such as attending the Waterton
       Glacier Hamfest on the Canada–U.S. border. It also brought
       lifelong international friendships into his home—including
       students from Ecuador whom he considers "Ecuadorian sisters"—and
       serves as a great social outlet that keeps him from becoming a
       recluse.
       [] Steve (W2SHR - NCS): Talked about his strict daily
       routine, waking up between 4:30 AM and 5:00 AM to monitor HF
       (7278 kHz) for the Insomnia Group, followed by morning check-ins
       with local operators, and concluding every single night at 7:00
       PM Eastern with the Coastal Carolina Emergency Net.
       [*] Robert (K4WZV): Confirmed a near-identical morning routine
       centered around a fresh cup of coffee, firing up his hot spots
       and servers on the TGIF network, and answering technical emails.
       He emphasized the phenomenal social aspects of the hobby but
       noted the importance of balancing it by scheduling dedicated
       family time with his wife.
