My router is blocking TGIF network

       ---------------------------------------------------------
This just started happening. My pistar hotspot successfully
would connect to my home router but not to TGIF.
I have the same problem with my laptop and other computers that
go through my router. I try and go to the PRIME TGIF website
and it doesn't connect instead I get a "Time Out" message.
If I bypass my router and go direct from modem to the TGIF PRIME
       website I have no problems.
What does work is when connected to my router if I turn on my
IPvanish VPN I can then connect
       to TGIF PRIME website.
The strange thing is only the TGIF PRIME website gives me the
"Time out" message and whatever TGIF location
all 3 of my pistar hotspots go to for TGIF won't connect to the
       server.
       Any tips would be appreciated.
       thanks
       Ken

       Hi Ken.
Please be aware that there is no more "prime" TGIF website (or
server). There is no more "legacy" TGIF website (or server)
either. There is only the TGIF server now. PERIOD.
Although the address prime.tgif.network SHOULD still resolve
correctly, it may not under certain circumstances. You should,
therefore, only be using tgif.network for your hotspot settings
       and accessing the website.
That being said, your router may have suddenly developed a
problem. It happens. You might try rebooting it, updating its
firmware to a later revision if the manufacturer has one
       available, etc.

       Hi joe,
Sorry if I called TGIF the wrong name. Whatever tgif.network
is that's what I use to monitor what TG are active. The router
is also blocking my 3 pistar hotspots from
       working too.
I am already at the latest firmware for my ASUS RT-N66U router.
My last resort is to reset the router because I have many ports
       open for different devices
and that would be time consuming. Not sure if I do a backup
then used the backup to restore I would just be installing what
       was corrupted.
Maybe I'll just take a lot of screen shots.
Before I do that I will try another router just to prove it.
What's frustrating is of all the sites, it had to be
tgif.network that is giving me the problem.
Everywhere else I surf I have no problems with getting a "Time
       Out" error message.

It started working late last night. First thing I noticed I
could get to tgif.netwok with my laptop without a time out.
       Then my hotspot started working.
I tried multiple re-boots along with a force re-boot from the
firmware but nothing changed, still could not get
to tgif.network with my laptop. (at that time the only way I
could get to tgif.network was by bypasing router and go
straight from modem to laptop.) So I felt confident something
was going on with the router that still isn't clear to
me why it only effected tgif.network. I could surf anywhere
       else without a problem.
Just before calling it quits I tried my laptop on tgif.network
and I was able to get there without
the page Timing Out. Next I tried my hotspot and it was
       working again.
       Magic happens.
       Thanks for your reply
