Hearing all traffic on TGIF

Hi - I've been using DMR for a couple years now...so fairly
familiar with setup and config. I have about 15 talkgroups
programmed into my anytone 878 for TGIF. I've been away from
TGIF for a bit with a move to a new state...
but when I tried it out today, without keying up any talkgroup,
I was getting traffic from every TGIF talkgroup there is, not
just ones I have programmed in my radio....as though I'm
listening in "lastheard" online. In the past it would only hear
what I had programmed in my radio and keyed up to be active.
My experience is with brandmeister where I key up a talkgroup I
want to listen to or transmit on, or DMR MARC with CAN TRBO,
where I program in pi-star talkgroups I want to monitor, and if
I wish to talk, I key up that talkgroup.
How do I listen to only the talkgroups in my radio (monitor
function), or one I have keyed up.

I think I found the cause - in self care it shows my talkgroup
as 777 - which is scan.
what I don't know is why that is the default - I do not have
that in my zone, or a channel in my radio...

Can you clue us in on what the issue was. I find I can TX on
"Parrot" and RX what I said. But when I tune to a talkgroup I
see activity on the hotspot, the green RX light on the HT
lights, but I don't hear anything.
