       Will a Nextion screen work using a Pi3B+ and OpenGD77 in hotspot

       Hello Everyone:
       Will a Nextion screen work using a Pi3B+ and OpenGD77 in hotspot
       mode?
       I tried to get this to work using the standard Nextion driver
       installation. Pi-star tells me the driver is installed and
       working, but the screen data does not populate. It finally
       occurred to me that this may not be possible.
       More specifically, the GD77 is connected to the pi3 via USB
       cable as is the Nextion screen using a ttl converter.
       Any comments / suggestions appreciated.
