HELP
I am running PiStar 4.1.0-RC7 on a RPI 3B and have added the 3.5
K series screen connected by USB/TTL adapter via USB port on
RPi, with Mitch's latest nextion TFT file. All seems to be good
on the screen except CPU temps.
Using the instructions from Mitch's UPDATING PI-STAR WITH
NEXTION SCREEN: STEP 1, the github loads fine and the Update
works fine, all is well except no CPU temps.
STEP 2 is executed with the ./IND.sh option 3 then select #2,
all loads fine then this is where the problems start:
The HOME screen now is always waiting for data... and is always
inactive except the only box works is the LINKS button.
So... once again, format SD card and start over, done this 3
times with 2 different SD cards..... same results.
Any help would be appreciated !
Should I go to the full new Pi-Star_RPi_V4.1.0_26-Mar-2020.zip??
There appears to be a fault with this Step 2 script......

Remove this script and the instructions from the forum. It
doesn't work. Plain and simple.
I could give a more detailed explanation about what doesn't work
and why, but I burned 3 hours fighting with it.
It's much easier to just install Mitch's display TFT file and
install the packages manually. Far more consistent and reliable.
The script is a nice idea, but if it's going to be posted and
not maintained, it should be removed.

If your talking about the Nextion installer scripts they work
just fine. I use them probably 20 times a week. You must have
somethingt else going on. And can you be more specific than
sayng they dont work. If yopu are tryng to get mitches screen to
work there are other things you need to do besides the scripts.

Robert -
I updated the version of Pi-Star up to 4.1.5, and then followed
these steps to get the 3.5" screen to connect to the hotspot
again. I'm missing the temperature display on the dash page and
the idle screen.
It seems to be working in all of the other senses. I've likely
missed a step or managed to miss something along the way.
