       EME and Weak Signal VHF and up Talk Group 125

       I was talking this morning with a couple of guys that do Meteor
       Scatter and EME on TGIF. I was talking about the old days guys
       use to use HF to coordinate the contacts between each other.
       Sequence, timing and location to turn the beams. As time went on
       the internet has kind of taken over with various chat groups
       like ON4 Chat, HB9Q logger, Ping Jockey. Some of them have rules
       to keep chatter down, and only use when working ot announcing
       CQ, or QRV and what bands. It would be nice to have a DMR spot
       where we can also do this, but more so to be able to Elmer
       people that are looking to get into it. It will also give people
       an outlet to be able to talk about general weak signal work. I
       know quite a few weak signal guys that are on DMR. Most of these
       guys are early adopters to technology and digital modes since it
       has been instrumental to weak signal guys thanks to K1JT, and
       others that have changed the way we look at weak signal work. It
       is much easier to be able to talk to other rather then time
       consuming and long email chains, or clogging up a chat room with
       chatter while guys are trying to coordinate a sked with each
       other.
       Either way I want to thank you guys for your hard work on an
       awesome network.
