Mediation and negotiation the spirit the context the strategy
Also in the corporate sphere we find that carrying out a
mediation or rather a negotiation is a real science as well as
an art and a practice with its own method its own strategy an
appropriate analysis of the context its own spirit. which
requires skill and discipline would say Alessandra Colonna
author of The manager of negotiation 20 as well as CEO of
Bridge Partners the first Italian company specializing precisely
in management consultancy and advanced training for the
development of negotiation skills.

mean giving in or conceding causing
dangerous precedents in which the other may not be grateful to
us and take advantage of us greedily. And moreover by devaluing
the very idea we have of ourselves even resulting in
unconvincing. Negotiating doesnt mean imposing yourself saying
no compromising the quality of the relationship and causing the
conflict to escalate until it gets out of control. Negotiating
means knowing how to bargain give and take.

Mediation and negotiation techniques and traps Negotiating is an
art as we said but like any good mediation it must be nourished
with appropriate techniques strategies that avoid running into
errors and traps . In particular there are four phases of the
negotiation Preparation which consists in thoroughly
clarifying ones indispensable objective avoiding acting blindly
in the subsequent phases Dialogue which instead is aimed at
understanding the needs of others unlike the first phase
preparation listening and asking questions rather than speaking.
