Server Purchasing Parameters.

Hello everyone.
I am making this post to inform you regarding our options for
the purchase of our server.
It seems like the 2 most favored providers were 4netplayers and
i3d. However, i checked about half of the providers from the
list on the other original topic for new server and i have come
to the conclusion that 4netplayers, have the lowest ping rate.
For me (Greece) it picks at 74 while other pick at 85-90.
If we go with 4netplayers, the cost of renting a server will be
considerably lower than any other provider. We can get our own
server for 50euros per month while most other servers range with
a 80+ euros/month.
And so i am making this post to detail the parameters of the
server reservation we get from 4netplayers and the price range
per person.
So, As i understand we are 9 people that are willing to pay for
the purchase of the server and all of us have requested that its
not more than 10 euros/month. So all the calibrations will be
made with those parameters.
One of the issue we found ourselves discussing is whether or not
we should go for a 3 month option or a single month option.
Though the prices do vary, they only do for less than 3 euros
per month in total. Bellow you can see pictures of the
parameters i chose and some brief explanation for each of em.

As you can see, we pay for the following parameters
1) 70 player slots. The next lowest parameter was 64. Obviously
we will be needing extra slots to observe potential cheaters.
2) 3 month rental with a -3% discount from the original price
3) Branding option which adds the prefix "4netplayers" in front
of our server's name. Which means basically that our server will
be named ex."4neplayers - [DEA] Hardcore RUSH server" instead of
" [DEA] Hardcore RUSH server". This option allows us to get a
-5% discount from the server's original price. Personally, i
wouldnt like to see the brand infront of our server and wouldnt
mind paying for it to go away.
4) Procon LAyer which essentially enables us to control the
server remotely. Its basically a power tool for the admins. I
recommend we have this on so that we can manage our server's
parameters and restriction + rules better.
5) Our own Teamspeak Server. Keep in mind that 4Netplayers ONLY
provide TS3. Not Mumble. Most other providers provide TS3,
mumble or Ventrilo. The additional price for our own TS3 server
vary by the number of supported hosts. The available options for
slots are 10-25-50-75-100. I think that 25 slot base is more
than enough for us.
6) File transferring within TS3. No reason for it and it can
skyrocket our price
7) Voice encryption. Since we arent competative gamers, i dont
think we have something to worry about our secrecy.
8) TS3 host name. Basically it means that instead of an IP
address (ex. 192.168.200.56:8000) we may name our server address
(ex. DEA.europe), Nice to have and it will make many things
easier but.... i see it as a luxury.Thus was not calculated.
9) TS3 server bunner. Gives us the ability to set a banner to
our server (ex. our logo) and to set a welcoming message. Again,
personally i see it as a luxury and thus not calculated.
All in all the price fall to 140,94Euros for 3 months or 15.66
Euros per person for a single pay.

Bellow You can see the picture of the parameters for a server as
reserved for a single month.
As you can see i kept the same parameters and changed the
duration of the reservation from 3 months to 1 month.
The price has gone up to 48.33Euros/month or 5.37euros/person
and month.

I recommend we go for the 3 month plan. Unless some people
really cant give more than 10 euros for a single pay.
I believe that most of us will agree on the parameters i show on
the pictures.
One other matter that has come up while talking with Hrabbia, is
the topic of who gathers the funds. Keep in mind that the person
who is charged with the collection of the funds is the person to
buy the server and thus OWN the server. Personally i think
Hrabbia is the most suited person for this job since all of us
know him and can see that he is the opposite of Privatepaula.
Most likely the collection will be made via paypal account. So
please take time to set up a paypal account. Its not hard, it
takes same time as a new e-mail account and the costumer center
is very helpfull in case you need some help. Or else i can guide
you through it since i have been using paypal for about 4 years
now. If u have a better idea as to the fund collection method,
feel free to post it on the comments.
Lastly, it would be a very good idea if we all gather up on TS
on Wednesday - Friday. So please post bellow what day and time
you are free and willing to meet up.

do we want to continue renting this server if after first month
we will not have enough regulars? i'm ok with both ways.
i dont think we need host name, because most of the time you
will use copy paste anyway. also if you join the server once,
joining next time is already easy.

Cy brat, Im glad that someone made this topic. Nice job.
I agree with every argument.
I think the bedt option is 3 months, cause maybe at beging will
be difficulty, to attract ppl on our server, but be aware
holidays arw coming and lot of ppl will play, and this could be
our chance to attract them on our server.
Im sure our server will not be empty, we know so many ppl, we
will have about 8-9 admins, most of day some admin will be
online...

Who cares about TS3 banner and DNS name, IP copy/paste and its
always bookmarked. So dont waste money on that.
Also, that host name in name, yeah, its pretty stupid,
! but for first three months maybe we should have it. I was
always looking for "4netplayers" when i was searching for other
servers because they have good ping.
So, in that first period, maybe it will bring us some players.
And when we will have a bunch of ppl who play on server, we can
remove it. =D

Since some of us like the idea of not having the prefex
"4netplayers" at the front of our BF4 server name, i am posting
the calculated price for a 1 month and 3 month plan
1 MONTH PLAN: 50.74euros/month or 5.64 euros/person and month
3 MONTH PLAN: 147.96Euros in total or 16.44 euros/person for a
single pay.
So the price only changes by almost half a euro in either case.
Again, i personally am ok with this.

Goodmorning,
I am contacting you in order to get some information regarding
the payment methods for your servers in BF4.
Myself and some friends of mine are currently in the process of
renting a gaming server for BF4 and your services are one of the
2 we've settled on.
We are currently discussing payment options and fund gathering.
So my question is whether or not you accept a single payment
from a single named costumer or do you provide the option for
"fund deposal" payment method.
The latter would help us deposit the fee much easier since not
all of us have a paypal account to manage the nessesary
transactions.
