turn 10. How is this possible?

years............

Suppose today is December 30th is his B'day, then day before
yesterday is 28th his age is 7 years old, so by December 30th
he will be 8 years old, and by next year December 30th he will 9
years old and on December 31st he will 10.

Today is January 1st. Yesterday, December 31, was Ravi's 8th
birthday. On December 30, she was still seven. This year she
will turn 9, and next year she will turn ten.
