introduce yourself!

the introductions board. if you are new and need help navigating
the forum this is the place to start. but please use this only
for introductions. if you need help with something please start
a topic in either the general section or the appropriate board.
not sure if that contradicts itself but i'm new at this.

Hi all,
Im OlDosLover. Im a 55 year old man from Wagga Wagga N.S.W.
Australia. I started programming late 80's with GWBasic and
never loked back. Found QB64 a few years ago and was very
happily surprised by the backward compatibility. Im an active
member on the main QB64 web site.
I like the idea of more user created QB64 sites by young
newcomers. We need this for growth and a realistic future for
the QB64 future. Hopefully this site can fill in some of the
gaps that exist with what we already have in the QB64 community.
That said im pleased to join and support this endeavour.
