Hey guys, I just got a bunch of old cameras and don't know what
to do. One that caught my eye was the minolta hi-matic 7sii. I
don't know if it's working, and I don't know how to go about
fixing it. All knowledge and advice would be greatly
appreciated. I'll post some pics later, and maybe a small
teardown. Maybe. Also if you guys find any good resources for
camera fixing and stuff, please share. Thanks

Quick update: I've looked through my stuff and apparently can't
use any lenses or filters or flashes etc because the 7sii has a
fixed lens and I don't have the original flash. So now I have a
few problems. 1. What do I do with the other 40+ bodies and
lenses and accessories. 2. Where do I star to fix the minolta.
I'll keep posting updates often. In the meantime if anyone has
any ideas whatsoever, please share. Thanks.

Another update: I've sorted through all my stuff, and I decided
to create a "grab bag" of sorts; it'll contain the camera, and
all accessories. Since I don't have the proper flash, and the
7sii has a fixed lens, I'm stuck in those areas. I sorted
through all the filters, and I have 5-6 that fit on the 40mm
lens, and then I have a step-up ring that will allow me to fit
almost all my filters (about 20). Then I have two more adapters
that will fit a few more filters, up to 59mm. Since I don't want
to carry around a pound of filters, I decided I'd thin out my
stockpile of them. Firstly, I'll get rid of duplicates, and
secondly I'll eliminate very specific ones (ones I won't really
ever use). I also have a hard shell camera backpack, but I don't
think I'm gonna use it for it is too big for the Minolta. Among
my other accessories I have a handheld mount, an external timer
and a short and long trigger cable. If you guys have any other
suggestions or ideas, I'd be glad to hear them. Thanks
