Life Event: Originally shared on Patients Like Me

---------------------------------------------------------
In 2002 I had a major car wreck that also gave me an out of body
as well as a near death experience. Because of the impact of
that car crash I had painful joint and body pains that just as
it suddenly appeared would disappear. The accident must of
triggered something. Such incidents made me think I was crazy at
times but I knew I felt the pain and this could not all be just
in my head. By 2008 I had many episodes: from difficulty
driving, walking and much pain and inflammation. Even though I
had no insurance coverage, my ex and I knew we had to find out
what was wrong. My finger joints were swollen and I had to be
assisted with daily usuals such as moving, walking, holding a
cup to brushing my hair. After seeing a curandera, a doctor that
could only practice in Mexico and could not help me anymore and
a medical assistant at my University there was no choice but to
see a specialist. Diagnosis unfortunately was Rheumatoid
Arthritis. I had a disease, but to this day...I am a warrior
because the disease does not have complete control of my life.
Treatment and a calm life does wonders...at times may even seem
like miracles.
Sincerely
Luc

Oh, Luci, I'm so sorry that you are suffering with this and that
you had to bear the pain for so long. I hear that it is quite
painful. I hope you are receiving the help that you need. A
calm life does work wonders in our lives.
Do you take Turmeric? I take a capsule every night and it seems
to help. Here is a link you might want to look at.

Oh man sorry to hear about all that pain you are going through
Luci. And then the Rheumatoid. But hey you finished college
under all that. You got up made breakfast for the family and
pushed yourself out the door into a classroom were you sat
patiently as some eggheaded professor yapped the good part of
the day away and you paid attention and graduated.
You aren't ill Luci. You have the mind of healthy vibrant
individual and that's the thing that will keep you going on
strong. Hell I fell off a bicycle once and cried for week
thinking I was impotent. I didn't even go to work until I got my
nutsack in order and I knew it was in order after getting horny
over a Gilligan's Island episode watching Lovely dance or
perhaps it was Ginger, my fear is it might of been Gilligan. Not
sure now.

LoL always a good laugh with ya' Oscar. Yeah this happened years
back and I am being treated for it by a professional. I take an
injection(Enbrel) once a weeks and meds too for the disease and
inflammation. I am blessed compared to others who still need
treatment. Love you guys...
Staying in touch
LL
