What a beauty! I'm surprised they didn't post a photo of the
       sleeping quarters.
After this job though, if I ever came across any money, which I
won't, I would charter. OMG, there is SO much work involved in
taking care of a boat. And planes and cars, for that matter. I
       am so overwhelmed.
But this is a real beauty. I didn't see a price listed. Did
       you?

I didn't see a price except in thier brokerage page they had a
       2005 Bruckmann 50 listed at around $700,000. I reckon a new one
       is probably over a mill.

Geez, and I can't get better than 750k for a 110' motor yacht.
I'm making the boss spend money to fix the critical items so it
can pass a survey but he is lucky if he get a mil. Still, if we
fix it up enough, I can get free dockage at a marina and give
the listing to them. So all around it's a win-win situation.
And I can make my engineer move back on the boat and save on
       $1400 a month on rent.

I've developed a sudden interest in Tugs and Trawlers. I don't
know why but I went sailing again and then I visited my friend
whose old tug boat is now being Captained by his son. I was
telling him about sailing and said, yeah but I like to remain
dry. And I thought to myself, yeah me too...lol.

You know, there is good money to be made operating a tug boat.
I paid $5600 to get towed from West Palm Beach to Fort
Lauderdale. And another $2500 to get towed to Marina Mile. You
might be onto something there, Mister.

I wouldn't use it for that. It would be a pleasure tug such as
       the Nordic Tug:

If I wanted to do the whole live aboard deal then it would have
       to be a lot bigger...lol

Well, I must say, these are wonderful. Thanks for introducing
       me to them.

I always liked tug boats as a kid. Then I helped my friend
restore one but I did the engine work and some welding he did
all the work inside the carpentry and all that. I began liking
sailboats because of the wooden structure. I could never work
with wood and always admired the workmanship. But as of late and
especially after going sailing I decided that a trawler or tug
       would better suit me.

I'm so glad you had the opportunity to go sailing so you can now
best determine what it is you like and don't like. That's the
       way to go, for sure.
