IMO , their preety much the same , even I played LoL for a short
time , I can say it's just like dota (aos , unique heroes etc)

We can do a match (on Garena if you hav , I haven't got any
other server :-[) sometime if you want:D.Even so the news tell
that with the new release of the beta Dota2 , there are about 4
games Icefrog must take care of(DotA,DotA2,HoN,LoL) , and he
says he will continue DotA AFTER he's at a point with all the
others :(
