Diary to 1.7 (OLD)

Hello.
I'll start a new diary as the last one was pretty successful.
This keeps me more motivated and this way you guys can see daily
how the campaign moves forward.
Also remember that you can ask here about anything related to
the project.
Now doing

[*] I'm now doing a minor version now and new minor version is
coming within one week.

Diary:

16.6.2011, Thursday: Today I fixed some bugs from prologue,
remade Aegis Shield and General's Badge. Also I finally finished
"Omega Medallion" synthesis item. Rest of the day I've been
making cinematics of chapter 4. I'm at the moment remaking
chapter 4 ending and chapter 5 beginning. When that is done I'll
release the next version. I would say this will take few days. I
haven't yet started testing the new remade boss.
17.6.2011, Friday: Today I was with a friend so I didn't do
much. In the end of day I was able to create some texts for
chapter 8.
18.6.2011, Saturday: Checked some cinematics in chapter 4 and
did final touches before testing.
19.6.2011, Sunday: Today I didn't do anything.
Weekly Development: This week I didn't do much. I got a
motivation problem.
11.10.2011, Monday: Today I tested few times chapter 4 boss. No
major bugs there just fixing small things.
12.10.2011, Wednesday: And today I continued what I was doing
yesterday. When this is done I just remake the first cinematic
for chapter 5. And after that I just fix some bugs the next
minor versions is completed.
13.10.2011, Thursday: Tested few times chapter 4.
14.10.2011, Friday: Tested again few times chapter 4 and now the
boss is perfect. However there's still one bug that I'm trying
to fix: some bosses drops stealable items when they die.
15.10.2011, Saturday: Today I remade the first cinematic for
chapter 5. Now everything is done, I'll fix rest of the bugs and
release the final minor version of 1.6.
16.10.2011, Sunday: I finished the first cinematic for chapter 5
and started testing few other bugs.
Weekly Development: This week I had a vacation, but I had nearly
zero motivation at all working for the campaign. I could have
done a lot for the campaign but sadly I missed this great
opportunity. However I managed at least few things in the end
and the next minor version is very close.
17.10.2011, Monday: After biking 15 kilometers to school and
back I had new energy and motivation to continue the campaign.
18.10.2011, Tuesday: Today I've been thinking how to improve
Dragon Knight and Dark Wizard gladiator arena fighters. Then I
started to do their new special tricks and remaking their
battles overall. I think I'll release Friday the next version.
19.10.2011, Wednesday: Today I finished their new spells.
20.10.2011, Thursday: Okay I have to admit I'm in a addiction of
Shogun 2 game. I've been playing last two weeks this game every
day. I'm playing with "Very Hard" difficulty and I'm trying to
conquer the whole Japan but this is so hard and takes a lot of
time actually finish the game. So yeah that's probably the
biggest reason why everything is going slowly.
21.10.2011, Friday: I was planning today to release the next
version, but there was still too many bugs to fix plus I was
with a friend having fun so I had to postpone.
22.10.2011, Saturday: Now doing the next version.
23.10.2011, Sunday: I tried my best to finish today the next
version but 39 celsius fever made my brains slow. Also I got
stuck on one bug. Combat kings are properly saved/loaded but
their levels are not. Tomorrow if I don't understand what's
wrong I'll have to call help. Hopefully tomorrow the next
version, it's just few clicks away.
Weekly Development: This weeks I was alsmost able to complete
the next minor version.

23.10.2011, Sunday: Today I've been working hard with chapter 3
dialogues. The chapter is almost completely planned but I won't
start to edit it yet. I still want to see how the poll will go

Weekly Development: I totally forgot to update the diary. Anyway
this week I was able to create the next version and now I'm
doing chapter 8. Over half of the dialogues are ready and now
I'm planning and making enemies all around the chapter. The
progress is average.
31.10.2011, Monday: Today I only worked on texts for chapter 3.
1.11.2011, Tuesday: Today I was able to finish all the texts for
chapter 3. I'll come back later to the texts and see if they are
perfect before I send them to anyone. I also started working on
chapter 8 texts again.
2.11.2011, Wednesday: Today I was planning bosses of chapter 8.
3.11.2011, Thursday: Today I had other things to do I just had a
small time working on the campaign.
4.11.2011, Friday: I was doing background story for the
campaign.
5.11.2011, Saturday: I was in lan party didn't do much.
6.11.2011, Sunday: Today I've been improving chapter 8 terrain.
Weekly Development: This week I've been doing a lot of texts
instead of the campaign itself. Average speed I would say.
7.10.2011, Monday: Today I've been doing chapter 8 terrain.
8.11.2011, Tuesday: Today I've been doing chapter 8 terrain and
"Monument of Colors" puzzle. Also I've been thinking about the
fourth optional quest how it should go.
9.11.2011, Wednesday: Today I've been doing terrain and bosses.
10.11.2011, Thursday: Today I got a new idea. To make things
balanced, I'll not make Enthan as Elite Boss because it would be
unfair for Fradz and Galeoth because the much is a solo battle.
So I'll make it optional quest and create a brand new Elite Boss
for this chapter.
11.11.2011, Friday: Today I couldn't do much. I was with a
friend plus we started playing Skyrim.
12.11.2011, Saturday: Well now I got stuck with the game and
I've been playing Skyrim whole day.
13.11.2011, Sunday: And today as well.
Weekly Development: And today as well. At least the game is a
single player game so someday I'll finish it and continue the
campaign.
7.10.2011, Monday: And today as well.
8.11.2011, Tuesday: And today as well.
9.11.2011, Wednesday: And today as well.
10.11.2011, Thursday: And still I'm playing the game. This game
is pretty long, I see. School and Skyrim. :-X
11.11.2011, Friday: And today as well.
12.11.2011, Saturday: And today as well.
13.11.2011, Sunday: FINALLY! I have beaten the game! Finally!
YEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAW!
Weekly Development: This week the progress is almost zero. :(
7.10.2011, Monday: Today I was doing and planning chapter 8
Elite Boss and other enemies around the chapter. I worked the
whole day and a lot of process was made!
8.11.2011, Tuesday: Today I was working once again very hard for
chapter 8. A lot of progress was made to bosses and dialogues.
9.11.2011, Wednesday: Like yesterday, I've been doing same
things: working on bosses and dialogues. A great effort was once
again given, but there are many things yet to be done. I haven't
started doing cinematics yet. Making this campaign is going
right now very fast, I've found the right motivation.
10.11.2011, Thursday: I started working on the next minor
version 1.6f. I believe it's done Monday. Tomorrow I'll go to
lan party and that will take a day or two from my time.
11.11.2011, Friday: Today I've been doing this new minor version
meaning I've been fixing bugs.
12.11.2011, Saturday: In lan party.
13.11.2011, Sunday: Back from lan party. Today I've been fixing
bugs and making that new minor version.
Weekly Development: This week things have been moving rapidly
forward.
7.10.2011, Monday: Today I continued doing the minor version.
8.11.2011, Tuesday: I completed doing the minor version and I
uploaded it.
9.11.2011, Wednesday: Now I started doing chapter 8 again.
10.11.2011, Thursday: Today as well doing chapter 8.
11.11.2011, Friday: And today as well.
12.11.2011, Saturday: And today.
13.11.2011, Sunday: And today.
Weekly Development: This weeks things didn't move that fast
compared to last week because main focus was on the minor
version plus this week I played a lot of basic Warcraft 3 game
at Garena.
5.12.2011, Monday: Today I finished Epic Boss dialogue text.
It's pretty epic.
6.12.2011, Tuesday: Today I've been doing dialogs to some very
important places like the ending of the campaign. By writing and
editing the old texts gave me a few drop of tears. The ending
will be so emotive and it has a great meaning. It will be
something you won't wait and something that will make you think
and may even touch you.

Weekly Development: I've once again forget to update the diary.
Well, this week I've been making a lot of dialogus overall the
campaign and thinking about the story to make it even deeper.
Many things are improved and I've already begun planning the
dialogues of the last bosses. I believe the next major version
comes few weeks after the New Year.
5.12.2011, Monday: Today I've been planning Vampire and Xada
second battle. Also I've been thinking about Mega Gem, Cripple
Triple Axe and Eternal Set how to improve those.
6.12.2011, Tuesday: Today I've been remaking Vampire battle at
chapter 5.
7.12.2011, Wednesday: Today I've been remaking Xada second
battle.
8.12.2011, Thursday: I've been working with these three battles:
Vampire Lord(chapter 5), Elite Boss(chapter 5) and second Xada
battle(chapter 6).
9.12.2011, Friday: Finally! I tested and now all those three
battles works perfectly! Now to fix minor things...

1.6c is the latest and there will be 1.6d before 1.7.

Would you be able to do a quick bug fix release for 1.6c
I really wanna play the game again (3rd time) but the amount of
bugs is putting me off it :( In particular when some of the core
set/synthesis pieces are bugged so you can't get them (i.e.
halfway to making a legendary before realising it's broken)

The items that you can't steal.
I.e. 'Milvera' and 'The Thing' bosses both have components of
an item that you cannot steal due to a bug (I assume it was a
bug cause someone else posted about stealing from them and aero
said it's bugged).

No bug. It's just caused by the ridiculously high steal
resistance of these bosses.

No bug. It's just caused by the ridiculously high steal
resistance of these bosses.

Yeah , why do the bosses in ch 1,3,4 are so full resistant?Why
don't you make the bosses in ch2 rezistant , i mean Galeoth and
Phodom aren't met to be thiefs , Fradz is.
