All Magic Ball locations

Campaign Version: 1.1a
After playing the game a bunch of times over the years i always
though i knew all the locations for all Magic Balls, but
recently i found out (watching Matias videos on youtube), that i
missed 4x lesser magic balls, which enabled us too get 3x
Greatest Magic Balls + Galeoth's set. (which i though before was
impossible)
Im not claiming this is the best thing too do, as getting the
armor reduce item in CH6 + Galeoth set later would not be
possible and both are insanly powerful. If we would not go for
max Magic Balls, we could also get from CH7 the rezz item from
the gladiators shop. But getting 3x Greatest Magic Balls instead
of 2x just feels nice.
The Maximum amount of Magic Balls you can get in a
playthrough.(without cheating or abusing bugs)
Lesser Magic Ball: 40-41x (42x is also possible, as you can get
in CH8 1x lesser magic ball in the Lucky Chest with 0-5 luck,
but then we would not able too get the 1x Greater Magic ball
from the Lucky Box with 6-11 luck)
Greater Magic Ball: 17x
Doing some math: 5x Lesser Magic Ball can be crafted into 1x
Greater Magic Ball and 8x Greater Magic Ball can be crafted into
Greatest Magic Ball. (one of the best items in the game)
Total: 8+17= 25x Greater Magic Ball = 3x Greatest Magic Ball and
we got 1x Greater Magic ball too spare. (which means, we can get
3x Greatest Magic Ball (24x greater magic balls needed) and
Galeoth's set or spend up too 6x Lesser Magic Ball or 1x Greater
Magic Ball and 1x Lesser Magic Ball in the campaign for
something else if (if we collect all of the), like in CH6
getting the armor reduce quest item or do something else)
Here is the list on how many magic balls can be aquired in each
chapter:
Chapter 1: 4x lesser magic balls
1x Dig (go from the Dig spot above Phodoms house, too the right
of the map, that Dig spot has the ball)
1x Steal from the Shadow golem (main quest boss)
1x Clicking on Sir Richard (after doing his first worm quest)
1x Drops from the Miniboss Wuzz Shaman (right of Phodoms farm,
should appear if you killed all the Wuzz on the map)
Chapter 2: 1x lesser magic balls
1x Dig (top left of the map outside of the Barbarian village)
Chapter 3: 1x lesser magic balls
1x Loot it of the ground (in the second epic boss room puzzle)
(using the Mysterious Ring too get into the rooms)
Chapter 4: 2-3x lesser magic balls
1x Dig (in one of the Caves)
1x Clicking on Kasvati until he disappears (after the Strange
Stones quest boss
1x Clicking on Prospero after the Endboss fight (at least 1
dragon slayer dies, but not prospero) (Note: In general i skip
this, as the reward for keeping all 3 alive, is too good too
pass up (Amulet of Bless = Grants a 30% attack speed and life
drain, revive and 100% health regen item on use buff for 5
minutes and you dont need to wear it too get the bonus) and we
dont need this magic ball)
Chapter 5: 7x lesser magic balls
2x Dig (1. Going up the map over the bridge too the left, then
going down. 2. Bottom of the map, left from the mainroad in the
middle, there are a bunch of wolfs, then go down left)
3x Completing Anatholo's Tragedy quest
1x Steal from the epic boss fight stage 2
1x Side with William and not John (the quest over the big
bridge, going down)
(TOTAL COUNT: 14-15x lesser magic balls)
Chapter 6: 8x lesser magic balls and 2x greater magic balls
Lesser:
2x Dig (1. Bottom/Middle left of the map (white key needed) in
one of the Death Bringer rooms. 2. Up from the 1th Digspot,
befor enterign the main Vampire room, the right room)
1x Drop from Man Eater (bottom of the main resident area you
visit)
5x Drop from Demoness warlord (they are all over the map)
Greater:
1x Drop from Zor'Zo (one of the Generals, middlish from the
maincorridor and a bit down then left (some keys are needed too
open the doors)
1x Buy (in shop, at the purple door area, top left from the main
corridor)
(TOTAL COUNT: 23-24x lesser magic balls and 2x greater magic
balls) (this chapter + last chapter + the 1x lesser magic ball
from CH3)
Chapter 7: 6x lesser magic balls and 6x greater magic balls
Lesser:
4x Drop from killing the 4x Mystic Portals in the cemetary quest
boss room
2x Dig (1. Top right of the map 2. Teleport too Rodhni Pond,
bottom left of it)
Greater:
3x Buy (in the gladiator shop for 5 points each)
1x Buy (from the shop in the great market, bottom right of the
mainroad)
1x Puzzle at the magic guild (click monoliths until all glow and
sparkle)
1x Bid on it in the Auction Hall (dont skip items or it might
randomy skip it)
(TOTAL COUNT: 29-30x lesser magic balls and 8x greater magic
balls)
[b]Chapter 8: 7x lesser magic balls and 3x greater magic balls

[b]Lesser:[/b]
2x Dig (1. Starting area go topright on top of the mountains and
right 2. In the troll cave with the golems, if you look at the
middle path, in the end of it in the bottom, kind of hard too
see, there is a generator thingy at the top of it)
2x Clicking the trolls after the Healer boss fight (tree boss)
(right of the map and down)
3x Drop chance from the three bandits (save before, kill one, if
it is not a lesser magic ball = reload and repeat until it
drops, then save and repeat until all 3 drop 1x lesser magic
ball, also note, they can even drop more loot like gems together
with magic balls)
Greater:
1x Click the troll near the obelisk after defeating all 3 omega
monsters (DO NOT KILL ANY OF THE CRYSTALS) (attack each crystal
with the corresponding heros Q ability) and kill the boss after
the 3 monsters.
1x Buy it in the troll shop (top right)
1x Open the Lucky Box with 6-11 Luck (inside the destroyed
castle)
(TOTAL COUNT: 36-37x lesser magic balls and 11x greater magic
balls)
Chapter 9: 4x lesser magic balls and 2x greater magic balls

4x Click on whisps, in phodom's path, crystal path puzzle (I
recommend too enable healthbars in WC3 options + and zoom out
the camera a bit with the campaign custom camera option)
Greater:
1x Same as the Lesser, if you clicked all, at the end you get a
Greater Magic Ball
1x Buy it in the shop in the end, after you unlocked the
teleporters (you need too unlock all teleporters too get acces
too them for free. (else you need to pay 1x greater or 1x lesser
magic ball) 1 teleporter you can be missed if you dont go top
left with phodom, in the run section at the start of the chapter
(before the lizard blocking the path) and then go back too his
end spot)
(TOTAL COUNT: 40-41x lesser magic balls and 13x greater magic
balls)
Chapter 10: 4x greater magic balls
2x Pick them up inside the library (you get the library gem
randomy from enemies too teleport too it) bottom right and left
of the library in the corners (not viseable, need too hover over
them)
1x Dig (the path right above the train station and shops)
1x Buy it from Tie in the Train Station shop (if it is not
viseable, buy another 1 time item, as the shop has too many
items at times)
Abusing bugs too get infinite amount of Greater Magic Balls:
If you buy an item from a shop, with your hero's box, that has a
full inventory, the item bought will be dropped too the ground +
you can buy the item again after some time.
So you could get as many as you got gold for, if you want that.
(first chance is in Chapter 6, at the purple door residence)
