Nope.
I'm a addicted user of reviving abilities/items/combat kings and
I've never had this problem.
Oh, I also died sometime ago and lost a life. Still, no problem.
And do you mean "encountered", right?

I just got few times that bug in chapter 10. I must have messed
something up, but I know now that the bug is only at this
chapter.

Bug found and fixed. Only happened in chapter 10 because of one
setting.
