       Demo Angel Battle

       Hey,
       So about a week ago I joined to a competition at Hiveworkshop

       />where you're suppose to create a boss fight. I joined to this
       competition and created demo battle of Chapter 10 Elite Boss

       If we look now on the past I've also created Chapter 10 Boss

       />We have to remember all these battles are not final and there
       can be improvements before adding them to the campaign.
       I'm like killing two birds with one stone as I join in
       competitions and I do the campaign at the same time. Chapter 10
       will be piece of cake for me as the terrain is already done and
       few bosses. So after chapter 9 is done, chapter 10 comes pretty
       quickly.

       forward to all 10 chapters being done.  TCO is amazing; keep up
       the good work.

       Edit: May I give my opinion and reports about the battles?
       Yugimar Stage:
       [spoiler]1? Battle: Nice made, a little difficult, but i think
       it would be kind of easy in the game.
       2? Battle: Hum...I think it's a little difficult to see it
       preparing a skill or such, and the skills are prepared very
       fast, a little too difficult to avoid them. Weird enough, it was
       a easy battle. Oh, and suddenly, in the end of the
       battle(something like 10-20% of the boss hp), the boss stoped
       moving, attacking, it just stood there doing nothing.
       3? Battle: Ouch! I've died a few times to make through this one,
       but after learning about its moves(and how to avoid them) it
       turned out smoothly. I think the Skeleton Lords that appears
       sometimes are more difficult than Yugimar itself ::). [/spoiler]
       Angel Stage: [spoiler]Are you fucking kidding me >:(? I must say
       I truly gave up this one. Seriously, i may try again in the
       future, but now...i'm sad :(.
       -Firstly, the Angel(the main one) is difficult enough. I mean,
       just be near it and sooner or later your Fradz will die. Its
       skills(the lesser ones) are fast, hard to predict, and strong
       enough to almost kill Fradz with just one hit, and when he
       doesn't die, get stunned for some seconds that looks like 5
       minutes(of course, i'm just exaggerating) in that battle.
       -Oh and even dying like, ten times already(i think more, no
       kidding) there is one( or two) skill that i can't say how to
       avoid, and no, it doesn't look like you can take it for free,
       since my Fradz usually dies when he uses it(btw, the skill
       effect are some lights that keep doing damage to your
       characters), i thought you could just keep a distance from the
       angel that the skill range wouldn't reach you...it wasn't the
       case, and the targeting character looks random to me, in other
       words, i can't make Phodom take all the damage.
       -The Angel Minnions aren't difficult, but they're FREAKING
       annoying since they attack you while the main angel does some of
       its ubber skills. Besides, they look like the main angel, i
       think there's almost zero graphic differences between the main
       one and the minions. This is just FREAKING annoying since you
       don't know that the main angel is there...then you take a break
       to blink and...BAM! Your Fradz is dead.
       -Mixing together these things, you have a boss that i couldn't
       take out even half of its HP. Of course, i'm a hardcore(not that
       hardcore though ::))player, so i had to, at least, play on
       extreme. Even losing lifes(that i don't like to lose) i couldn't
       beat it...
       Some bugs:
       -Galeoth's first skill(don't remember the name) bug: It was
       supposed to take out 15 armor from the enemy and do 300
       damage(to a single enemy i think). The debuff is okay, but
       there's no damage at all.
       -The "you surely are fucked up right now" bug(not confirmed):
       Since, the minions look like the main angel, i can't say for
       sure that this bug actually happened...i don't even know if it's
       a bug in the first place. What happens is: Besides the minions
       that keep annoying you while a huge skill(especially the lights
       circling around the arena) is happening, the main angel that was
       supposed to disappear, stay there and.... you know the rest,
       right?[/spoiler]

       Welcome to the 2012 of RPG industry; there are ideas and there
       are some flawless suggestions... there's just no response from
       the creators themselves. So basically, since this is a bit
       similar feedback, and now that you've posted it, you should
       expect to receive cricket chirping in return for your time.

       Being more clear, i can understand the words you write, but i
       can't connect them. But let's make this a little bit easier. Are
       you criticizing me, the map, the rpg industry, Aero, my post, or
       you aren't criticizing anything at all :D?

       Really? Like what?
       Mini-Events(every 25-35 second):
       - Shoots 7 light bolts front, each bolt dealing
       6,000/8,000/10,000/12,000 damage. The bolts return from 1000
       range.
       - Shoots 10 light bolts in all directions, each bolt dealing
       6,000/8,000/10,000/12,000 damage. The bolts return from 1000
       range.
       - Activates 4 lightnings that spins around the boss, dealing
       6,000/8,000/10,000/12,000 damage.
       - Starts to channel and every 0,25 damages a unit by
       900/1200/1500/1800. Selects a random player's unit with 20%
       chance each wave. The event lasts for 10 seconds.
       - The boss becomes immortal and gains double attack and movement
       speed for 10 seconds.

       The lights follow you 15 second and then the event is gone. Is
       there a problem?

       There's one thing: the boss is a bit bigger than the minions. Is
       that not enough?

       I haven't played it on Extreme but I beat the boss with Hard
       difficulty so I think it's possible with Extreme too. But yes
       the boss is intense but shouldn't it be? It's the second last
       big boss fight.[/quote]

       The map and therefore Aero just as much. I feel that your effort
       to bring this case up will be in vain, for even though Aero
       probably keeps fixing bugs and balance the bosses as is
       necessary, dat-da-dah, it stops short right there.
       So the first time Aero creates a boss, kewl, it's nice. The
       second time you'll have a familiar feeling. Finally, the third
       time and onwards, you should get this deja vu -feeling that
       "hey, haven't I lived this moment before?".
       All this because Aero either will or will not create a
       non-combat boss fight, whilst waiting for it (if it's to come)
       we'll have to suffer the pain of repetition.
