'Grinding' fits better.
And what then if it needs farming? I don't mind.
But we do. As I said, these achievements require grinding, and
nobody likes grinding.

Instead of protecting your own ideas, you do something else.
Interesting.
Protect against what? "Just... Why?" or "Yea, right. Just right.
No." or what? All that is just AIR.
[quote author=Aeroblyctos link=topic=1268.msg10896#msg10896
date=1348217826]Anyway, you're right with your second quote but
all other quetes, nope.
And please explain further instead of just a simple "nope"?
Pretty please?
[quote author=Aeroblyctos link=topic=1268.msg10896#msg10896

Of course you don't mind, vice versa, you really embrace it
since it forces some enthusiastics to repeat the campaign over
and over to acquire 100% of the content. But for someone who
seeks for unique ideas and such, forcing them to replay for more
gold or stuff like that is just plain dull. You must've had the
luck of not playing any games with uninspiring farming included
in them, else you'd understand why.
[quote author=Aeroblyctos link=topic=1268.msg10896#msg10896

like "fail 20 times row".
So are you fine with both ways or not? Come on, if it was "fail
1 time" (to be sufficient enough for you), where would be the
uncommon part? The number would either be too low to be uncommon
or too high to be acceptable in your eyes. Or then you simply
just don't want "negative" achievements, should you see them
discouraging or anything, I don't know, but for some reason
anyways.

Instead of rejecting ideas with a simple "nope", learn to
explain why.

If you think some of your ideas were good enough and I didn't
add them to list say say what and I can rethink if they're good
enough.

Firstly remove or reduce the achievements about 999,999 gold
because with the current state of 5k limit per riddle question
it is impossible to get there without about 20 give ups. It may
have been OK before the 5K limit though.
Suicide Artist (die 10 times or more in one chapter) should be
included.
About The Pathfinder (get through maze perfectly in chapter 4) I
think it should be included. The argument against was that it
makes it stressful, you should want to relax and go where you
like. But that isn't the case because it's not like you have to
get through perfectly EVERY time. Just do it once and get on
with the game, achievement accomplished, you can relax as much
as you like right?
Dragon Slayer and Master Slayer are alright.
Keep all heroes HP and mana above 50% in a chapter sounds
alright to me :)
Finishing campaign without using a single honor point is also a
good one.
These two are pretty much compulsory:
- Defeat Slurgal without letting anyone die
- Defeat Xada after letting him transform
so that people have an idea of the rewards, because if this
forum didn't exist I would never have guessed either of those.
I also think these should be included:
Bow before me: Deal 10000 damage without taking any yourself
Complete idiot: Let a boss heal up 50% of their own HP and
defeat them (applies to bosses that can heal - Noc'toriah, Ch2
epic Fradz, Xada, etc)
Juggernaut: Take 20,000 damage within 3 seconds without dying
Godlike: attain over 150000 magic damage
And something similar to this:
No hands: defeat ch 1 main boss only using spell damage (no
physical attacks)

Okay I'll read all the suggestions again next week when I've
some spare time at the school with a total new way.
But how would you like to see the archievements, from Multiboard
or Game Panel?

?_? Sometimes I wish I could speak like you, hamza.
Anyways, I'm gonna try one more time by suggesting more, at the
moment it just feels so hopeless.
Sought Them Both - Defeat both Khutzi and Nhutzi in chapter 2.
Meeting Destinies - Find the Black-hooded Man in chapter 1
before the normal boss fight.
Storm, Frost and Fire - Have all the 3 Dragon Slayers cast a
damage spell to an enemy in a row, in less than 8 seconds.
Termination - Kill the same enemy 5 times in a row once it has
resurrected.
Also rename suggestions for chosen achievements:
Story Hunter -> Encyclopedia of Oelivert History
Hunter -> Man vs. Environment (refer to PvE)
Secret Ending -> Director's Vision

If we're going to use Multiboard we won't have any descriptions,
only names.
If Game Panel, we have to find icons and create the
descriptions.

Thanks Flecky :D
I would prefer multiboard for speed of viewing, you can see at
one glance exactly which achievements are remaining/done etc.
Best idea is to do both, have the description for achievements
in the game panel so people know about it, and just have a list
of them with the completed ones marked, on the multiboard.
