Making Lava Stage

Hey!
Into this thread I upload the newest pictures how I'm making
chapter 6's lava stage. Through this area you'll have to travel
first at the beginning of chapter 6. Also here will be the fight
with Elite Boss.
What do you think? How can I improve this?
It's still under construction.

Mmm i got 2 suggestion:
- Make randomly bubbles apear on the lava.
- Some rocks in the lava place

Well, in my opinion, you could add some living creature into the
lava if you aren't thinking of doing that already, maybe some
weird looking fish jumping up from the lava from time to time,
and maybe it is able to attack you for very little damage if you
are very close to the lava, something like a piranha that lives
in lava instead of water. A constant earthquake that shakes the
screen up and several rocks falling down seems to be good for
me, but this might be available only in harder mode as the
screen shakes up, it is harder to control your character.
You could add some plant growing on some of the rocks or cliff,
or probably even on the lava as well. Another one that I think
of is that you could design some of the rocks or cliff into
something like an evil laughing face, since this stage is on
Chapter 6, Kar'Gath right? Which is a place of evil, instead of
making them just a normal rock or cliff.

I guess you could add :
- some skeleton doodads, like skeletons hanging from the wall
and such. Also, as in Broodwar, a giant critter skeleton out of
a hole or from the lava (I tried to search a photo, but this is
pretty specific. If you played SC, you know what I mean... it's
a doodad from Badlands... a giant skeleton trying to climb a
hole). That would be pretty shocking and badass...
- Maybe some souls (translucent versions of existing
charachters, like villagers) walking over the place, inside and
outside the lava area. Of course, they are unselectable.
- Some lava bursts in random areas from time to time.

Maybe do a grim one like this, but well hidden, so when the
player see it, he would be like : "omgwtfbarbecue the cliff has
a demon face ! :o "

I like that lava bubble idea! I'll see if anyone can do such a
model for me...

Yes, there will be enemies at lava. You have given some great
ideas, I'll think about them if I can create.

Hmm, I have never played SC1's expansion, only the original
game. Lava bursts, hmm, hmm, hmm.
And I have attached to this post the old pictures of this place.
Thanks for the ideas guys, it's been very long since I have been
"terraining".

I just think of another one, which is actually just to improve
the one I said of designing an evil laughing face on the rock
and cliff. Other than just making a evil laughing face as I said
before, making the face that is on the rock that is on the lava
firing out flames would be good as well, something like a
volcano, while at the same time making huge boulder rolling out
of the mouth of the face on the cliff, well, that is if you
wanted to.
