Competition Idea
This competition's idea is to create an idea of the final combat
king I simply cannot make myself. Poor me. The combat king is
third ranked it suppose to be magic type combat king. The name
of the combat king is Magic Torment. The best idea will be
picked and used in the campaign(if it's good enough of course).
Hints
- Make sure it's a passive ability.
- Make sure it's powerful enough, it's third ranked!
- How does levels effect your combat king?
- It suppose to be for magic users.
- It can start many ways but here are some: after cast, cast on
target, every X second, attacked, attacking, dies, kills,..
Competition Rules
- The idea have to be yours.
- You can make unlimited amount of entries.
- I will have all the rights to edit the rules all the time(I
will do it correctly and I will be fair for everyone).
Competition Prizes
The winner of this competition will have his/her name to Hall Of
Fame(which I will improve time to time). Also, your ability idea
will be created to the campaign(if it's good enough).
Judging
I'm the only one who will judge the winner of the competition. I
will judge all entries. The amount of entries you post will not
decrease your chance to win in any way. However, if there are a
lot of entries or horrible entries, I'll have the right to kick
some of them away in order to make the final judge easier for
me.
Deadline
The competition begins immediately and conclude 1/1/2011.
Final Words
Good luck, may the best idea win. If you have questions,
ask.

Magic Torment
This issue of the combat king teaches ...
How this works ?
- Every magic casted by the user will make a buffer increase
- The buffer increases until x.
- Each charge increases the magical power of the user by y%.
- When the buffer reaches it's maximum charges +1, the magic
flux becomes too unstable, and it's energies are released to the
nearest enemy in a 1000 area, causing z damage. The effect ends
here.
- If no magic is casted in 15 seconds, the effect ends.
- If there's no enemy within the area, the torment is released
in the user, damaging him.
X = Combat king level x 2
Y = Combat King level
Z = Combat king level x 40
SIDE NOTES
- It would be nice if numbers appeared in a purple color near to
the user head when the buffer is increased (similar to the npc's
texts), in a "current stack/max stack" format.
- A purple glow/aura around the user when the buff is active,
and also a purple wave/ray/hadouken or something to show the
torment release.
- I choose purple 'cause i like purple.
- The maths are just for demonstration.

Well, since it has the word "magic" and "torment" in it, it
should have something to do by using magic to damage the enemy,
so my entry for this competition would be:
Magic Torment:
This issue of combat kings teaches the user how to deal damage
toward his/her enemy with their own mana. Every time the user
attacks an enemy unit, there is a (?)% chance that the user will
use (?)% of their current mana to transform it into a dark
energy and send it toward his/her enemy, corrupting the energy
of his/her enemy and turn it against them, dealing severe damage
toward the target by (?)% of their current hit point and current
mana in damage. The percentage of damage dealt also destroy a
portion of the target's mana.
So since this ability is based on percentage, the more the hit
point and mana point the enemy has, the stronger the effect is,
but this skills become weaker gradually as the enemy's hit point
and mana point will be destroyed by the ability, which means
that this skill's effect is only on the strongest during the
start of the battle.

Okay, here are the results. I haven't rated because there are
only two combat kings. The competition was hard, but I found
what I was looking for. That was the purpose of this
competition. Thanks for LucasMapurunga and Divine Seal for
joining this competition.
LucasMapurunga's combat king reminds too much of the current
combat king:
Combat King - Trance
This issue of Combat King will teach the reader how to enter a
trance that increases magic damage temporarily. Every cast
increases the magic done with spells by X% and the bonus can
stack up to five times. The damage bonus dissipates quickly when
not casting. |n|c00FEBA0ELevel: Medium. |nActivate: Cast. |nEach
level increases the magic damage by 1%.
Otherwise it would be an excellent combat king. And by the way,
what I remember you have joined like every competition or
something all this time. Thanks for being so "loyal" for the
project. ;)
Divine Seal: This is a good combat king, but I wasn't perfectly
satisfied with it so I made few changes. :P
This issue of combat kings teaches the reader how to deal extra
damage based on magical powers. Every attack deals extra damage
based on X% of reader's max mana. Also every attack has a X%
chance that it also steals mana based on 50% of the bonus damage
dealt, if the enemy doesn't have mana the bonus damage is
doubled. |n|c00FEBA0ELevel: High. |nActivate: Attacks. |nEach
level increases the extra damage by by 1% and the chance for the
special move by 3%.
What do you think?
Anyway, Divine Seal, you have won the competition!

Woohoo! I have won the competition! Anyway, I read the ability
after you have edited mine, and it is still as good as the
original one. Since it is third ranked, I figured that I make a
Combat Kings that based on chances and percentage, because even
though the chance might not come out that much, the moment it
did, it deals a high amount of damage.
