[Completed] Youtube video playthrough on Extreme

All the chapters are now up (Complete!) and are also in the
first post!
Note: Walkthrough is now completed. All of it can be watched in
480p (which I rcommend) but halfway through chapter 7 can be
viewed in 720p since I turned up the graphics and resolution.
Long Version: Well, I'm here to say I've been doing some videos
myself since WsawW inspired me. I am doing a 100% completion
run, which means to me, killing both elite and epic bosses of
each chapter.
To me, extreme isn't that bad, it's like playing on normal for
me. Once you know it and get it down to a pattern, it becomes
much simpler. Synthesis items are a huge part, too. Always gotta
get those.
If you want to check it out, go to my channel on youtube,
KillaTCO. It's all listed in parts going in order. On my channel
some of the parts are out of order, so don't go by that. Make
sure to put it on 480p and fullscreen, quality turns out best

This is the elite boss battle, a good battle I think. My
strategy was to not use many pots but still make it interesting
and challenging. It was nice to finally get into something

This was the epic boss battle, a more difficult battle from last
time. Still fun nonetheless. I had a lot of problems recording
this one but I finally got my recorder to be nice and I got to
kill him and go through all the cinematics

A very fast and simple elite boss. I beat him in 1 minute flat.
It's a little sad for the boss, but I am pretty strong at this
point. Still it's extreme, it should be harder probably. Maybe

I can't manage to kill. Good boss fight I think, if not a bit

A new character appears, Galeoth. He's a magical powerhouse,
he's a character that I like to get his spell damage behind
normal limits of the chapter and the campaign. You'll see that

We fight both the chapter boss and the elite boss. 2 for 1, a
great deal. The elite boss caught me off guard though, I wasn't
expecting some things from him. But that's okay, I recovered. I

This boss wasn't tough at all. All talk and no show. I even
tried to make the boss fight stronger. He needs a lot more HP
before he becomes a threat to even use half his spells at

We fight the elite boss. While it's not amazingly difficult. The
cutscenes are quite cool and very revealing about the story.
Check it out, because there's even a cutscene AFTER the boss

Video 5: Epic Boss

We fight the epic boss for this chapter. It's one of the most
interesting and unpredictable bosses because it has so many
forms. I got lucky by being able to not get stuck with the form
that the boss changes to which is the death form.
The death form has a pinwheel of death in 6 or 7 lines that jut
out. If you get hit, you're basically gonna die. They're hard to
dodge, too. I did not get hit with that or stuck with the form,
so I think I was lucky. It's not like I would have failed the
boss fight if that happened, it just made it slightly easier to
kill.
Nonetheless, I didn't have too much problems with this boss, and
I think even if the death form happened, I still would have not
been in trouble, still a good fight.[/spoiler]

Being serious though, he wasn't such a bad boss. More difficult
than past times I fought him but I just know his strategy way
too well at this point, I can easily beat him.[/spoiler]

He's just a human....or is he?
Overall this boss battle was easy, nothing shot out at me that
was difficult. It was just a much longer boss fight. It's still
fun to watch it though. I mostly didn't have difficulty because
I was fast on my hands and was able to guess what he'd do next.

Now this boss battle was kinda tough. I did have troubles with
it because I wasn't expecting it. I didn't know it was going to
play out the way it did and I gotta say, it's probably the first
actual challenge I had since I started extreme

Here it is. The epic boss. It's frightening when you find out
the full story behind it though.
Overall this fight was piss easy. I didn't have any problems. In
fact, it didn't even get a chance to do most of it's spells
which is a shame because they're actually pretty good. He just
needs a lot more health so he has more time to do more spells,
that's all.[/spoiler]

We end chapter 6. We finally beat our first REAL DRAGON. Isn't
that awesome? While he may be our first dragon and his spells
are very strong, his health isn't too high. Oh well, it wasn't
such a bad fight though.
Anyway we're onto chapter 7 now, the largest chapter in the game
with a lot to do. Check out this chapter for sure because

A pretty tough fight against a statue. It took some thinking and
strategy to beat it. It just has so much base damage. Had to

We now fight the elite boss! Finally, our first elite boss fight
that we can put in HD and 720p quality. It was an interesting
and fun fight. I had to use potions and think and timing and
everything. Definitely a more harder fight than what some people

Now here comes the epic boss. We do some searching around first
though. We finally find him at 10:20 in the video. Skip to there

interesting. Really the only time you can start giving him some
worry is when his armor goes all the way down. It starts off at

Excellent, simply excellent.
I've been following this project very closely. I would you to
make this thread a little more "eye-candy". Like you could put
all the videos here. Of course if the post is too big that will
be a problem but if you use spoiler tags it will be awesome!
You could make like one video, then a sentence or two telling
what's it about. Then make in different spoiler tags different
chapters. These are just ideas but currently this isn't much
"eye-candy".

Hey, I appreciate the criticism and praise. Thanks for bothering
to watch one of the videos. I do realize the sound is a bit of a
problem as I didn't have a whole bunch of time to tweak that.
Sorry about that, should have payed a bit more attention. I
don't really record much so I'm still learning things here and
there, I'll try and solve it next time I record.
Also, the thing with the "we". I like to say I'm playing along
with my viewers, not just me playing the game. Maybe it's just
my style, sorry if you don't like it, it's just how I naturally
saw it to talk. Saying like "I beat this" "I did that"....well,
that's just boring to me. I'm playing, but you guys are watching
too. I think I should count you in also as I'm sort of playing
with you in a way.
Again, I'll try and look into that sound issue, I didn't know
that my sound effects were louder than the actual music itself,
it may just have ended up quieter when it got compressed and
uploaded to Youtube.
I love the TCO music, and I'm going to do some sound testing now
to make sure I get the full effect of the music, unfortunately
those older videos will not have that awesome effect, but I do
plan on playing more, so this is a good insight.
Oh, one more thing, I'll try and update the first post to have
my videos in there, maybe a little description too like Aero
said.

Update: Okay, so I did some sound testing, and I figured it'd be
best to let you guys decide which you like better. In this video
I chose multiple sound options during the gameplay.

Tell me which one you thought was the best. Specify in what
start time to end time you liked the best. I'm partial to 1:15
to 1:30 myself.
I also did this one, where I just let the music mostly take over
and ignored any SFX, though, Aero says he wants to hear both.

The Chapter I Epic Boss video is very lagged sometimes, and
thanks to it i notice some Aero english errors i hadn't notice.
I just saw one video, so i cant say for sure, but here's my
review and questions
1.Without Give ups? Did you sell some items?
2. You're very fast with your hands, but you're lucky too ^^,
you got hit too many times by the "ground fire magic" and
survived
3. Power Heal? And the bug?

5. The Chapter I with or without give ups is almost the same
thing(It IS easier thought), but extreme...without give ups?
Man, you're awesome, i could never play the later chapters
without give ups(maybe i could, but not killing all the
elite/epic bosses).

Yeah, Aero still has some English errors in the early chapters.
I'm actually the head of correcting text errors. I corrected all
those errors before I even started correcting text for him, so
those should actually be fixed, I just think he hasn't gotten to
entering those corrections in yet.
To answer your questions:
1. Yes, I did not use a single give up nor do I intend to for
the rest of my Extreme run. I do sell items in the game of
course to produce money to make synthesis items.
2. I am very quick with my hands as I play a lot of games, but
the thing is I had Phodom's health in good standing so I could
take many hits with him. I did runs without even getting hit
with that ground magic spell, but I had to redo the epic boss
video a lot because of errors or something going wrong in the
recording. I got lazier as I had to redo the recording a lot so
yeah, I got hit more than I should have, but I'm also good with
healing when Phodom's health is low. I guess you could call it
lucky also.
3. I chose Power Heal purposely knowing it was bugged. Why you
ask? I wanted a challenge. That's not all though. I wanted to
test out the skill and learn what was wrong with it and fiddle
around with it to see how it can be improved or used. I cannot
level up the healing spell though beyond 2 because it will start
lowering my health. I don't find it as getting in my way though.
Heaven's Bless is definitely a better choice if you die a lot
though, but I don't die too often so I didn't pick it.
4. I don't really get the fourth question?
5. Chapter 1 with giveups is actually different. I'll tell you
why. On your first playthrough, you probably won't make too many
synthesis items early on that can be made. In chapter 1, the
main good synthesis items that can be made is Ruby Axe, Zwill
Blade and Grandmaster Staff. Those are the ones off the top of
my head, I did not make Zwill Blade in chapter 1 because I knew
I could make it in chapter 4 and also I needed the money for
chapter 2, so I saved it. I could not make Grandmaster Staff
because I had to conserve money there too. I'd also would
probably get Fire Cloak if I had enough money.

I'm on chapter 7 now actually, I'll be closing it up soon, too.
I was planning on uploading up to chapter 6 today. Chapter 1 is
only here because it takes awhile to do all the spoilers and
everything, but yeah, I'll update it.
Chapter 4 is on my channel, but I'll get chapter 6 up too. I'll
even update it on the first post.
Update: It's done. It's on my channel, I updated it all to be in
part order, and I also updated it to be on the first post. Check
out the videos now. You'll also be able to view chapter 7 soon
as I'm almost done with that, I just have to beat the mini-games
and all, so it's kinda long.
