Morality and item

Excuse me if this has already been covered in a previous thread
ages ago, but it's been three years since I tried this campaign
and I haven't been following the progress too closely.
Some rpgs offer unique rewards based on how you solve a quest.
Sometimes the items has properties corresponding to your
alignment be it good, evil or neutral(although neutral is
anyones guess) Personally I like this as I feel it adds to
replay value.
Now as I read on a thread this is just a system to add a few
optional endings for Phodom specifically. I am just curious if
there is a possibility to make an item which reflects upon
Phodoms current morality later on?
Exactly how to balance this item or even make it significant
with all the synthesis items most have by the end, I have no
clue.

So you're basically wanting me to create two sides of each...
Item? That would be too big job to.
Chapter 1 is little like you're suggesting. You have choice in
the end kill or not to kill. Reward depends on that. There are
also two differernt endings depending of your morale.
Can you give me some examples, I'm not sure what you're trying
to suggest.

talking about individual RPG games (not just Warcraft RPG maps),
which have a far bigger group in the actual creating of the
game.

then again, why do the real companies hire tens of people to
look after one aspect?

Yeah that's what I was thinking and I'll admit I don't know much
about the development process when these games are made. I meant
specifically Wrpg games however, since most Jrpg titles don't
include a lot of roleplaying choices like that.
And I agree if it's a lot of work then Aero shouldn't consider
it.

It is similar to what I was thinking yes. Two items that opposed
each other...Something as different as say a Hammer of
dark/light..Although a bit more specific to Phodom. Like the
starting packs.
Tied into a small cutscene with some cosmetic differences and
dialogue based on your morality.
The exact specific properties of the item I don't know, but if
it sounds like a ton of extra work for a pretty mediocre idea
then by all means don't consider.
And yeah I read a post of yours about the endings earlier. Which
I'm more than satisfied with anyway. I mostly meant this as a
somewhat fun bonus depending on the choice you made earlier.

So I'm not sure how to continue this discussion.
I could try to do few more quests and the reward depends on what
you choose.

Some of the items in TCO already have an "alignment". Items
like:
scynthe of annihilation, demon's stilleto, demon
sphere, decimator, vampire fangs etc.....
Sound more evilish so you could have a better chance of getting
those items if you make unethical decisions in the campaign.
And Items like:
Holy set, golden ... items... , lucky items, silver
set, medals, every life/health items etc..
sound more righteous
Also, the reward for morality doesn't have to be items. It could
give help for quests, hints or secret quests???

I think his idea in concept isn't bad. You could make 1 very
powerful item that can only be acquired as a good aligned
person, and conversely make 1 item that would only be acquired
as an evil aligned person. This would have to be a usable
endgame item (Probably acquired near the end of chapter 9, so
that you will have use of it for basically 1 whole chapter.) It
should be badass, maybe on the order of a legendary item that is
a little complex for the player to put together, but will be a
contender for the best item in the game for the character it's
designed for.

Yea I could create something like depending on morale reward is
different.
