       Flak hit, what to do
By: Airborne Date: June 27, 2020, 12:58 pm

Was heading to Hamburg and got hit by flak a couple of zones
out. The intercom is out as well as the tail gunners heated
suit. Now, no one would know this but the TG so do I assume the
pilot holds steady at high altitude and roll for TG frost bite,
or what?? I suppose I could have the TG leave his position to
       tell the other crew??
Interesting things that come up from time to time.

Lots of stories that IRL they hang on and just took it in.
But in this case a tailgunner unable to initiate a live saving
corkscrew sounds like an abort to me...
Wouldnt count towards 30 OPS imho...
