Very nice, but sadly my computer skill is not up to doing the
       map.

       Very exited :D
Just noticed that the scale of 50 miles/zone is close to the
       effective radius (r=30km, or 60 km across=50 miles ;D ;D)
       of the Himmelbet stations.
       An important thing: ;D
That gives great opportunities to reproduce the Kammhuber line
       as it historically was!
Can the creative soul able to put hexes on base map, PLEASE try
       to:
-basically use the same exact HEX alignment/position as in the
"hex almost ok" (shown again below), but only using a SLIGHTLY
smaller hex (as described fitting 50miles instead of 55 miles).
(Of course ALL hex work is meant for attachment called "basis"
       in previous post.)
-AIM the hexes as to form a raster, taking into accound 3
       priorities:
Prio 1. The North-East alignment of the hexes containing the red
boxes before the ruhr proper as depicted in attachment.
Prio 2. Aim to lay a hex over the island as shown, again taking
care to align the Nort-east hexes along the holland coast.
Prio 3. Give 6 GP in north about a hex space if possible. This
would be a bonus only as its not influencing gameplay..
I hope below pic explains all...
(Failing all this, just copy the exact hex layout of this pic.)
       [attachimg=1].

I like the one hex per zone. Didn't like 3 per zone, but if you
were going for detail I could live with two hexes per zone.
I also like the color on the basemap used in the one hex per
zone image shown on the form. I think what is done might be good
       enough.
I may be able to do something but I need a base map file to work
from .....and the larger the file the better. Much larger than
anything I could click on here in the form and download,
       unfortunately.

No prob, Simon you and I are out...
       Maybe Glenn or David?
I finished the research on the map, and found it... sobering.
I tied to depict the situation for the better part of 1943,
       early 44.
The game rule per se, to check for NF in every zone, is
simplified, but understandably...so many radar sites :o
       I plan following things:
       1. Gardening targets (+codename) A good thing they did
       incorporated this.
       2. Coastal flak sites.
       3. Flak modifiers. From +0 (vanilla) to +4, depending on Target
or Area. (Berlin worst) Based on general literature, and GMT
       BoCo game.
       4. "Dunkle nachtjagd" dark nightfighting GCI zones, using
Würzburg radar; Himmelbett (box or station) intercepts.
("Helle nachtjagd" illuminated s/l assisted NF was cancelled
before 1943 and the s/l placed around cities: "Konaja")
       5. "Konaja" combined nightfighting zones to protect key city
       areas.
cooperation of searchlights, Flak and NF.
       6. Fighter beacons. Served after intro of window to assemble NF
       for feeding into stream.
I have one "no-frills" version of the map, with only boundaries
       and symbols.
I will also make a more detailed (cluttered?) version, with
original codenames, and shapes as used on german charts.(same
       funtionality)
These charts have more info than the crews had IRL ofcourse.
If you have any ideas of what to add/change else, lemme know...

       Hey Glenn...
Emailed 2 maps to you yesterday, seems not arrived?

       No prob Glenn,
The brown-white map is not THAT bad I think. Has a bit of night
       feel?
Spend hours on this one, a few more is ok for a good result I
       hope.
The scale of 55 miles zone is arbitrary, so apart from color
       there is no drawback.
What I will do is make the map with what I have.
       Any suggestions welcome...
NB. I have made this base map, and aimed at 2xA4 size (NA has
       comparable size forgot name)
If you insist on small footprint, on 1 A4 the counter just
barely is greater then the hexes, so usable as well. (Or scale
       to desire)

Italy was ok, I did that to allow cropping of map to relevant
       areas only.
Never mind Glenn, I got this.
Thanks for helping, this is what were heading for, say if the
       ciolors are acceptable;

Unfortunately I did not have this image to use as a base map.
If you want to me to resize this image you are using, send itvto
Chris and ask him to forward it to me.
