       8" Gun picture

       Which gun is that in the background on the hill?  Is that one of
       the 8" guns?

       Don't think that is an 8" gun up there. The only gun mounted
       that much above ground level was very near the beach and I don't
       see any beach in the image.

       I wonder if that is just debris atop the hill?  Just curious
       where this is located.  Does not appear to be Bonneyman's Hill.

       Just one of many sand covered structures. Higher than a gun
       bunker so probably a control center or magazine. Each large gun
       battery had at least one of each nearby. It is fairly large.
       Look how it extends beyond the trees to the left. I'll have to
       do some research on this one!
