       Two Good reads from US Naval Institute

       Have not read these before myself. May be something new to
       others. Thought they were interesting.
       Tarawa Proceedings by Julian Smith: (NOTE : This one doesn't
       allow non subscribers to read. It did for me but then stopped.
       Good read. Came to really appreciate Julian Smith's sense of
       things).

       Shoup was cut from a different cloth...that's for sure. I could
       actually get at the other article's link by Julian Smith today.
       Don't understand. Hit and miss. It's a good read too....
