       HELP! hospital tank?
       By: pitbullsoldier7 Date: March 22, 2016, 9:03 pm

So i have 10 good sized cichlids. But recently i noticed that
one of my Albinos has been getting picked on alot and has been
staying low to the tank and swimming away from every fish he/she
sees.I bought this fish from a pet store about 1 week ago. he
started out fine would eat food he did have messed up back fin
from fighting when i bought him but am getting worried its been
2-3 days since i seen him eat even tried freeze dried blood
worms. What should i do should i make a hospital tank and let
him heal up by himself or just let him be? If i should make a
hospital tank any tips i have a 5 gallon tank and 10 gallon
laying around. What kind of substrate should I use , filter,
should i have hiding spots for him even tho hes alone? PLS HELP

Yeah, definitely put him in a hospital tank. 10 gallons will be
fine, no substrate necessary, hiding spot would be optional. No
need for bright 'display' lighting, just ambient room lighting
       should be fine as well.
If you don't already have a seasoned filter you can put in the
tank, a small sponge filter and a quick dose of an off the shelf
'quick start' bacteria you should be safe.
       Best of luck!
       Paul

Yeah, I definitely agree with Paul. If it is only one fish
picking on your fish then out them in the tank together. The
person I bought my aquarium from used to do that and I think it
really worked because the fish I got with him were fine
       together.
