       I'm trying my hand at making my own filter and doing away with
       cartridges that cost a lot once a month. I am using poly filling
       and bio max in a media bag. Here is a picture. Will this suffice
       or is there something I should do differently. Any advice is
       greatly appreciated. It's not letting post a picture but I am
       using aqueon 30 quite flow and I have the poly filter leading
       into the cartridge area and the bio max behind it kind of
       stacked half and half will this work or is there another way
