What type of fish is the 3rd picture? looks like it may be some
kind of Protomelas? Nice looking fish.

No one can figure that out. When he gets mad, the horizontal
spots disappear, and he gets vertical stripes...

Yes, actually.
For those of you that watch John's You Tube videos, you will see
a little copper banded frontosa in the 75-gallon behind him.
That fish is actually the brother (or sister) of the fish
pictured above.

Very colorful, very cool fish. I need to learn more about
Cichlids so I can get a Cichlid aquarium. :D I got a few empty
cycled tanks right now. What to do? What to do?? :-\ LOL!!!

I wish I could keep Cichlids now. But I feel I need to know more
before I do. I do my "homework" and I want to feel confidant I
can keep them happy and healthy. ;)
