       Cichlid Salt

       I add Cichlid salt to all my tanks. I was just wondering if
       anyone has ever used a hydrometer to test salt levels or if it's
       even possible.

       I add about a teaspoon per 5 gallons when I do my water change.
       When I had a salt water tank I used to measure by the cup.  I
       don't think you need to bother with a hydrometer.
