       The hose doesnt fit.

       Looks like your missing a bubble counter.
       Not sure what you mean that the 'hose doesn't fit', the tubing
       you have is standard size so it should fit for you.  Try dipping
       the end in hot water for a bit to soften it slightly.  Makes it
       a bit easier to attach to your fitting.
       In most Co2 setups, a solenoid is used (with a timer) to
       automatically turn on/off your Co2 when the lights are off.
