Quarantine Tank for African Cichlids

So recently I have a some kind of disease outbreak in my 125 gal
and I think it was do to the 3 new African Cichlids in my tank,
so I have a 40 gallon breeder and I want to set it up to be a
Quarantine tank for every time I get new fish. By the way I
treated my fish with PRAZIPRO, it is a miracle worker. I want to
deck it out, because it will be in the middle of my kitchen and
I want my new fish to be happy while they are there. Question is
how long will I have to keep my fish there, I know there is not
really a set time fame just looking for ideas. Any recommending,
and want have you guys done in your Quarantine Tanks.

In my experience, it's best to have a sparely decorated tank.
You don't want hiding places. You're goal is to be able to see
the fish at all times while in quarantine.
I give them on average 3 weeks of in quarantine, all along doing
at least a weekly water change of about 30%.

All I was going to do is but one of those 3D background in it,
it is one of the simple ones, not one of the big fancy ones like
john has. Amazon as a simple rock background 36x18 for 45
dollars

Clearly that would be a nice decision. I thought "I want to
deck it out" meant more than a background. Just be sure your
fish can't get behind it.
