from your numbers, i dont think your tank is cycled yet. NO3 at
zero is either impossible or tank is not cycled yet. Also 4 koi
in a 75 gallon is not a good idea. Ive never kept koi but if I
am not mistaken, I think they get rather large.

you keep on jumping around to different subjects and you dont
answer the questions people are asking you. dont even worry
about a sump right now. your fist priority is cycling your tank
properly with whatever filter you have on there. your cloudy
water is because the tank is not cycled yet. the sump wont help
clear up your water right now. have patience and wait for it to
fully cycle.

you should be waiting for the presence of nitrates. You posted
earlier that your nitrates were at 0. this leads us to believe
your tank is not cycled. watch for the spikes in ammonia, then
nitrite, and then nitrate. Your tank is fully cycled when
ammonia is 0, nitrite is 0, and you have the presence of
nitrates.
