Hey guys I never bought fish from online stores but I would like
to try buying some online because my local petstore (petsmart)
are always having sick fish. So can you guys tell me some
reliable online stores to buy freshwater fish? not cichlids
       thanks!

Being from California myself (Central), I've not had too bad an
experience with fish PetCo/Smart as I quarantine fish that are
       going into an established tank.
Do you not have a local fish store in your area?
That said, the best source for me has been Craigslist. I'm
amazed at how many people are giving away or selling for cheap
       their livestock.
Yesterday, my son and I picked up a 90 gallon Marineland branded
tank and stand (about 6 years old) for $50. It came with 4
clown loaches, 1 albino bristle nose pleco, and 4 rather large
Angelfish. We took the fish to our local fish store
(TropicalHaven) as the tank is going to be used as my son's
       first saltwater setup.
In Oregon, there is the Wetspot. These guys do a lot of online
sales via their website as well as on Aquabid.
Course there's also Dr. Foster and Smith's Live Aquaria that
       sells online as well.
Not sure what your looking for in the way of fish, however
Aquabid would be a decent place to start. Many breeders and
clubs sell via Aquabid, and unlike most online sales, you get to
see a photo of the actual fish your purchasing.
       All the best,
       Paul
