What are some good starter africans for smaller tanks

hi guys i have a gourami tank already (obviously) and John (from
KGtropicals) has convinced me by showing off his 240 gal that
african cichlids are awesome so what are some good starter ones
for not so huge tanks please leave your thoughts thanks

Depending on the size of your tank, but I would stick with
mbunas. They are small and colorful. Eventually they do get big,
but maybe you will be a bigger tank by then. LOL
