       I'm running 2 emperor 280s rite now. I used new filters in the
       tank, I've been pretreating the water with the prime but I only
       let it sit roughly 5 min before adding to the tank tho. I guess
       ill probaly look into the refugium.

       5 ppm nitrates is OK, from what I've read. 20 is about the max
       you want long term

       Thanks for all the help,  I'm just going to keep an eye on the
       levels for a few more weeks.
