I've had Oscars before, its been about 8 years tho, but I've
always wanted African cichlids their colors were appealing to
me. I kinda had this tank fall into my lap. So I started
researching them , and I watched a lot of videos from johns yt
page. Which made me want them even more!

I kinda did the same thing, I moved fasted the hobby is
addicting. Started with a 20g, then moved to a 40g, and now I
have both of those plus a 75g and a 120g. All filled with
cichlids. They are beautiful fish, the only problem I have is
there attitudes, but I knew that when I got into them. Just
remember to over stock.

Yes it is very addicting I've only had the 45 gal going for a
few months and I'm already think on about upgrading to at least
a 75 gal. I'm limited on space or I'd go to a 100gal. So i did
some research and im pretty sure im running 2 emperor 280s.
