My 2nd Cichlid Tank!

---------------------------------------------------------
Its been a month since i set up my new 72 gallon bow front
cichlid tank. (My first was a 55 mbuna tank my ex kept :'()
Took this long to do a fish-in cycle! My filtration: an Eheim
2213 canister filter and a Marineland Emperor 400, thinking
about adding a sponge filter after listening to John and Joeys
podcast! (Great interview, if you haven't listened to it yet..Go
listen to it!) Substrate is fine and coarse crushed coral.
Decor: slate and other flat rocks i scoured the local terrain
for, a few large (boiled) shells i got in the Caribbean, and a
deer skull (which i boiled as well). Lighting is just a 48 inch
fluorescent and hoods are all glass. Stock list so far: (my LFS
was having a 50% fish sale and i added 3 fish that i am now
mildly regretting) Blue Cobalt Zebra, OB Zebra, Cyrtocara
Moorii, Tropheus Moorii Moliro "Firecracker," Kribensis, Yellow
Lab, Firemouth (total asshole, i should have listened to the
advice about mixing ACs and SAs), Geophagus Brasilensis (gets
bullied a lot even though one of the biggest), and an upside
down catfish (he is terrified!). Obviously this is a learning
curve and i haven't been in the hobby a full year yet, so (other
than the last 3 fish which were rather ignorant choices) any
constructive criticism and advice on future additions? Thanks
cichlid lovers!

A clown loach is a great addition. My pictus catfish and
hillside retic loach are doing great with about 15 AC's too. I
do have 1 Tangk in with the mal's but he is so far doing well.
My LFS had yellow tail Acai for 4$ so I had to get 3 they are so
amazing. I found a sunshine peacock as well that is a stunner. I
think compi's add a different shape into a cichlid tank and may
get another one probably an albino. Have fun sounds like a great
tank!!

Thank you! I would love to add a Diddy Comp., great looking
cichlid. Clown Loaches are very interesting, i would like to add
another bottom feeder. I have 6 new additions as of last week, 3
peacocks (they were in an "assorted peacock" tank, so my best
guess is a Sulfur Head, Malawi Butterfly "Otter Point," and an
Albino Strawberry) a Venustus, an Exasperatus, and what i think
is a type of Labeotropheus (got that funny looking nose). I
tried to add a picture but i need to figure out how to shrink
it, the forum wont let me add it.
