Move to growout tank or keep in the main tank?

Hey guys, I just picked up a few new fish today, and one of them
is a 4-5" Venustus I think, could be more maybe around 6" or so.
Problem is there are still some smaller peacocks and haps in the
1-2" range, and some mbuna around the same size. My question
would be, should I put the subadult venustus in, or should I
remove the smaller fish and put them in my 35 gallon which
serves as a planted shelldweller tank and let them grow out in
       there?
Would like to hear some views from you guys. Thanks.

You really can't say what could happen, but I have always gone
with the fish can fit in the mouth of you bigger fish then don't
mix them. There will be aggression naturally, you might end up
losing a fish or two. But you can never till, it is what you
want to do. This probably not what you wanted to hear, just from
       my personal experience.
