20 Gallon Long or 26 Gallon Stocking Question
By: summoner2183 Date: October 26, 2014, 4:14 am

Hey guys, I have already setup a tank that is a 20 Gallon Long
or 26 gallons. My initial plans was to turn this tank into a
guppy/cherry shrimp tank that is catered to breeding, but I
decided to use my 32 gallon cube for the shrimp/guppy thing. The
tank's measurements are 75 cm (29.5") x 44 cm (17.3") x 30 cm
(11.8"). What cichlids I can keep in here?
My thoughts are Apistos or Bolivians... can you guys suggest
anything else? Any possible tankmates?
Thanks.

I would do a colony of neolamprologus Brichardi. Very beautiful
and don't get too big.

Apistos or Rams would be perfect since they stay so small. You
could even go with Tangyanikan shell dwellers, they're harder to
find but super cool!!

I had a group of Bolivian rams and they colored up real nice. I
think in a tank that size you could either do the Apistos or the
Bolivians and have a school of tetras like Cardinals, Neons, or
Black Neons without any issue.
