       Another Angelfish Question

Hi guys, I am considering to turn my 32 gallon cube (Tank
       measurements are 50 cm x 50 cm x 50 cm ) into a probable planted
angelfish tank. Now my question is this... is it doable? How
many angels can I comfortably keep in this tank for life, and
any possible tankmates I can keep with angels?
       Appreciate some opinions and suggestions.

       It would be doable.
How many you could keep would be a combination of factors,
including how many other fish you keep in the tank and how well
the angels you have get along. How your tank is designed,
territories and such. For a tank like that I would probably
start with 6 dime/quarter size Angels and see how they did
together. All of them might not survive. You might find
someone getting picked on and needing to be removed. You might
find you have one big bully that needs to be removed. You might
get a bonded pair or two out of the deal. You can never know
how it's going to go with Angels until you give it a go.
As far as tank mates, I always think a few angels, with some c.
cat's and some tetras or raspboras (or even cherry barbs) works
well in a planted tank. With the cory cats and tetras there are
a lot of choices when it comes to species and colors. You just
want to make sure you have groups with those, because they do
much better that way. Some smaller loaches would probably work
too. If the tank is set up right you might be able to do some
rams or other little apistos as well.
       There are lots of choices.
