My neighbor also had Festivums and Acaras with his Severums.
They all lived well together but you need a big tank

I've had green severums in with Gold severums befor with no
problems. That tank was awesome. I found them compatible with
just about any "new world" cichlid. They are tough enough to
stick up for themselves but wont really pick on anyone. I've
always thought a severum and angels tank would be awesome.
Severums are beautiful fish and a joy to own. They truely are
the poor mans discus.

yes jeremiahsfish they look like discus to me and I bought them
cause I didnt want to buy discus cause they are expensive and
lfs told me they are hard to keep but I will surely bring some
home when I have done enough homework ;D
And to your question cichlider I think all species of severum
get along cause I have kept white and yellow severum with no
issues but there will be some chasing and its common among
cichlids ;)

That does sound awesome!
I like the idea of a Severum/Angel Fish tank! Angel fish have
long been a desire, but with all the other cichlids out there
it's just hard to choose! Do you know anyone who has had success
with a Severum Angel Fish tank?

I dont have any space in my room due to three tanks already ;D
So think twice before upgrading about how much gallon you need
but always remember the saying in the hobby "The bigger the
better" ;D
