       Hello everyone!
       I am new to cichlids and fish keeping. I just started a 75
       gallon tank and have 8 tetra's in it for the cycling process.
       Its been running for 3 week now and i haven't really seen any
       changes in the ammonia or nitrite levels. i am running 2 eheim
       2217 filters and have a 300w eheim heater. only thing i have
       been doing is feeding the fish, checking the levels, and have
       added water to the tank because its been evaporating out. how
       much longer do i have to wait to put cichlids in this tank? When
       i started the tank i added Api water conditioner, Api quick
       start and Api Water clear to take the cloudiness out of the
       water. Hopefully someone can help me out here

       Welcome to the forum. I travel to Lancaster every year for a
       work conference. Beautiful countryside down there. As for your
       question, mind me asking what your levels are testing at? You
       could also add bacteria to speed up the process.
